How we rank IV clinics
IV Scout exists because most IV directories sell the top spot to whoever pays the most. We refuse to. Our rankings are generated by a transparent, published scoring formula — and no amount of payment can change a provider's rank. Here's exactly how it works.
Independent rankings, always
We make money by connecting you with a provider — a call, a form, or a booking — and by selling market exclusivity on those connections. We never sell rank position. The clinic at the top is there because it earned the highest score, full stop. Sponsored connections, when present, are always clearly labeled and sit outside the ranking.
Six factors, 100 points
Every provider earns a 0–100 IV Scout Score. These are the exact weights — the same numbers our code uses to rank.
Reviews & reputation
40Count-weighted rating across Google, Yelp, and other sources. Volume matters — a 4.9 from 300 people beats a 5.0 from three.
Independent verification
25Credentials we checked ourselves: state license, RN administration, physician supervision, and mobile insurance.
Clinical staffing
10Whether a physician medical director and registered nurses are genuinely on staff.
Treatment breadth
10The range of drips actually offered — a fuller menu serves more needs.
Profile depth
10Real pricing menu, photos, hours, and editorial — not a thin 'contact for pricing' stub.
Data freshness
5How recently we refreshed the provider's information.
What our badges mean
A badge only appears after we independently confirm it — not because a clinic claims it.
- License verified. The clinic's state medical license is active and confirmed.
- RN-administered. Drips are administered by a registered nurse or paramedic.
- MD-supervised. A physician medical director is on file for the practice.
- Insured mobile. Mobile providers carry current liability insurance.
Curated, not scraped
We only list genuine IV and hydration providers. Chiropractors, colonics, and unrelated businesses that get scraped into other “IV therapy” lists don't belong here — and aren't ranked.
Medically reviewed
Our treatment and safety content is reviewed by a licensed clinician for accuracy. It's informational, not medical advice.
IV Scout's treatment and safety content is independently researched and fact-checked against published clinical sources. A licensed medical reviewer is being retained. Our editorial standards.
Run a clinic?
You can't buy a better rank — but you can get verified and receive matched, ready-to-book leads.
